We read with interest the article by Zhang HJ et al.1 Authors have described a total of 13 cases of left ventricular rupture, of these 11 patients had mechanical valve placed with continuous suture technique, whereas 2 bioprostheses were inserted with interrupted sutures. Could it be possible that continuous suture technique in calcific annulus is a risk factor for left ventricular rupture? We would like to
